How to Give Kids a Better Chance

Dear Friends,

Every picture tells a story and the one above does just that by offering a chance…a chance to girls and boys to discover the world through their own creativity. That is how we prepare young people for a world that demands innovation. If you care about making those chances available for every child in Westchester, you can help us by making a year-end gift of any amount to ArtsWestchester.

As the single most important funder of the arts in the County, ArtsWestchester is working hard every day to sustain a quality of life in which self-expression is highly valued, and where every child has the opportunity to explore creative expression through the arts. Last year, with your support and recognizing the needs of local teens, we developed a program called “Teen Tuesdays.” Because of its success, we are now serving more and more teens who attend our programs from the Coachmen Homeless Shelter, the White Plains Housing Authority, The Slater Center and several Boys and Girls Clubs. It has become so popular that we now call it Teen Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As the year comes to a close, please help us continue to encourage kids to learn through the arts by making a year-end gift.

Best wishes for the holiday season,
